What makes someone an introvert vs. an extrovert?
These terms are thrown around a lot and most of the time when I ask someone if they are introverted or extroverted they’ll say something like…
“Depends. I think I’m probably an ambivert.”
So, what’s the use of these terms anyway?!?
In the dictionary extrovert is defined as:
— an outgoing, overtly expressive person.
And, introvert is defined as:
— a shy, reticent person.
That’s not the whole story, don’t you think?
So, this week I looked deeper into why some people are more introverted and some more extroverted.
And, surprise surprise, it has a lot to do with why some people have more performance anxiety than others!
